Premier Choir will join the La Jolla Symphony and Chorus in the final piece of the concert, John Adams' profound and reflective masterpiece, “Transmigration of Souls," composed in 2002, the year following the September 11 attacks in New York City. This performance will mark the San Diego premiere of the work. Purchase tickets.

FREE PERFORMANCE: Enjoy a performance by three choir levels of the San Diego Children’s Choir as part of St. Mark’s United Methodist Church’s 2024-25 concert series. Guests at the Carlsbad Flower Fields can enjoy performances by the Apprentice Choir during their day-long Mini-tour. The performances are free to attend, but general admission tickets to the Flower Fields are required and can be purchased here.

Written over the course of three years, Mahler’s Symphony No. 3 is a monumental two-part declaration of faith that reveals the composer’s wide-ranging influences, from folk song to mythology and philosophy. This expansive work is Mahler’s ode to nature, unfolding in ever wider circles–from the intimacy of flowers and meadows, to a colossal vision of humanity, and the splendor of the cosmos and its Creator. 

World-renowned mezzo-soprano Karen Cargill will make her San Diego Symphony debut, conducted by Music Director Rafael Payare, for these final concerts of this historic season. Purchase tickets here.

Our special anniversary concert will feature more than 300 talented young voices, as they showcase a dynamic repertoire, from classic to contemporary works, in a variety of languages. We'll also join in celebration of our founder, Polly Campbell, with a special, commissioned piece to honor her legacy. As part of one of our major fundraisers of the year, a block of Right Field Lower and Upper Level seats is reserved for the Choir community.
