For its second year, SDCC’s Premier Choir has the honor of kicking off Voices for Children's "Starry Starry Night" gala. This year, Artistic Director Ruthie Millgard will be leading SDCC singers and Mainly Mozart Youth Orchestra in a collaborative performance. Starry Starry Night is the signature event of Voices for Children (VOC), bringing together the community to support San Diego’s most vulnerable children. Chaired by Julie and Dale Yahnke, the 2021 gala will be a spectacular evening under the stars at The Rady Shell at Jacobs Park, San Diego’s extraordinary new bayside performance venue, where VOC will celebrate, honor, and reflect on their 40th years of service in San Diego County.
